The pivot of the social committee is the Recovery Center (Gaztourman Gayan) which was established in 1950.

On Occasions, the committee invites the parents of the children of Gaztourman Gayan to meetings during which constructive lectures are delivered.

In 1989, by the donation of the Bourj Hammoud municipality, the committee established a garden-playground for the population of Bourj Hammoud.
